This site's goal is to provide the following resources:
-
A very thorough listing of the items in each title's artset.
-
Notes on anything non-standard. This is to help prevent authentic items
from being mistaken as fake.
-
A sort-by-date feature showing trends correlated to a title's release date.
This site is meant to be a tool to supplement the reader's own decisions. The methods used for the site's
decisions are given in the links below.

Disclaimers
- This site does NOT track the following MVS items:
- Some of the generic items
(such as cart insertion instructions, suction-cup-mounted "new" signs, etc.) These might very well
have originally came with an MVS motherboard instead.
The exception of course is if there is enough data to point the item as being paired with a specific title.
- Large marquees.
- Artsets for unofficial/unreleased titles.
- Ads/posters. The survey data points to these items as not being a part of the original kits.
Although some collectors/resellers might package such marketing materials with the game.
- Artsets for titles which require hardware beyond a standard, MVS cab for their intended,
single-player experience. These include:
- "The Irritating Maze": There is a dedicated cab with roughly 100 parts,
documented at arcade-museum.com
.
There also exists a conversion kit which requires the connections provided by a specific,
MVS board: an "MV-1B".
Documented at hardmvs.fr
.
-
"NeoPrint": This uses its own motherboard which has 2 cartridge slots and does not appear
to have a JAMMA connection.
There also exist a slew of support cartridges providing themes for the photo frames, at least
some of which came with their own artsets.
-
"Jockey Grandprix" and "V Liner": These gambling games are meant for cabs which have
"coin hoppers", enabling winnings to be dispensed to the player.
Both of these titles have an "SNK", holographic, authenticity sticker affixed to the
cartridge label.
-
There is always the possibility of error.
- Most release dates came from the wikipedia list of Neo Geo titles,
which in turn cites the official SNK site as the main source.
- This is a fan-created site, it is in no way affiliated with SNK nor with other resource sites.
